About Me

Christina’s passion for pilates comes from not only witnessing how it has benefitted her numerous clients in countless ways, but also because of the way it has helped her through various injuries/illnesses in her own body.

It was due to a knee injury sustained while studying dance in New York City in 2002 that Christina first started doing Pilates to maintain muscle strength and tone while unable to dance.

This was the beginning of a new chapter in Christina’s life for an awareness of how the human body moves and how best to maintain it.

She went on to study her Pilates Teacher training at the Kane School of Core Integration (now Kinected), with Kelly Kane. Followed quickly after by Pilates through Pregnancy and Comprehensive Fitball Pilates.

She is also a breast cancer exercise specialist, certified in the Pink Ribboon Program and has further trained in myofascial release, pelvic floor health and dysfunction and pilates for the menopausal client.

Christina is also a qualified Simonson Dance Teacher and Powerplate Instructor.
